Cultivation Technician (Mother & Clone Room)

The Role

As a Cultivation Technician specializing in Mother Plants and Cloning, you will play a critical role in maintaining genetic consistency, plant health, and propagation efficiency within our cannabis production facility.

Working within a GMP-compliant cannabis cultivation environment, you will support high-volume cloning operations and ensure the successful development of plants from mother stock through early growth stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing cannabis cloning, transplanting, topping, and defoliation
  • Maintaining and training mother plants for optimal clone output
  • Executing irrigation and fertigation protocols to support plant health
  • Managing large-scale clone batches and production timelines
  • Supporting post-harvest activities including trimming, curing, packaging, and labelling
  • Maintaining accurate inventory tracking and batch documentation
  • Following all SOPs to ensure compliance with Health Canada regulations
  • Upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Production Practices (GPP) standards
  • Cleaning and sanitizing cultivation rooms, tools, and equipment
  • Supporting team productivity and achieving cultivation targets
  • Performing other related duties as required

Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

  • Hands-on experience with cannabis cloning and mother plant management
  • Understanding of fertigation systems and plant training techniques
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures in a regulated environment
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cultivation or production setting

Assets That Will Set You Apart

  • Experience in commercial horticulture or cannabis production
  • Experience managing large-scale clone batches
  • Familiarity with GMP / GPP environments
  • Experience working in a licensed cannabis facility in Canada

Position Details

  • Full-time position based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada
  • Weekend work required on a rotating schedule to support plant health
  • Overtime required during peak production cycles
