Pre-Rolls Take the Lead in Canada, and PURPLEFARM Is Here for It

For the first time, pre-rolls have surpassed flower as Canada’s top-selling cannabis category. According to Custom Cones USA’s 2025 Top 50 Canadian Pre-Roll Brands report, drawing on Headset data, pre-rolls generated more than $1.27 billion in revenue across nearly 69 million units sold, representing a 32.8% share of the national market.

By mid-2025, pre-rolls had outperformed flower by more than 4%, marking a major shift in consumer preferences and retail dynamics.

“Consumers aren’t just buying convenience anymore.
