We are looking for an OPERATIONAL QUALITY TECHNICIAN to work with our amazing Quality Assurance team, ensuring we are producing the highest quality of cannabis. ‍

Responsibilities would include:

Quality Control (60%):‍

• Support operational activity with in-process verification checks
• Verification of electronic records
• Audit of QMS processes to ensure compliance with GPP regulations
• Verification of sanitation processes
• Quality verification of supplier and inbound materials
• Maintain scale verification program
  

Quality Assurance (30%):

• Support the QAP in the development, revision, and implementation of SOPs.
• Support regulatory compliance through quality investigations, deviations, and CAPAs as required
• Inventory verification and monthly report generation as required by Health Canada.
• Training on-site personnel as required
• Participate in internal GMP/GPP and third-party Audits  
• Ensure compliance with all QA/QC related regulations  
• Following all SOP’s, Health and Safety Standards.
• Other duties as required. 
  

Operations (10%):

• Support operation task as needed, including but not limited to, sanitation, trimming, packaging, plant maintenance, and destruction.
• Other duties as required. ‍

‍Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacology, Food Science, or other related scientific fields
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance/Control in a production environment is an asset.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered a strong asset.
• Previous cannabis industry experience is an asset.
• Attention to detail is required, and experience managing data would be considered an asset.
• Superb organizational and time management abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Extended periods of sitting or standing are required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 kg.‍

Position:

• Full-time, Fredericton, NB
• Overtime is required during peak times and to meet deadlines
